Welcome to the December content schedule! Here's a sneak peek of what you can look forward to this month:
- Hyper detail tutorial - Claws (Part Two) - Available December 1
This month's primary tutorial is Part Two of a Two-Part tutorial, which shows you a detailed study of how to paint the beaks and claws of birds. This tutorial focuses on the claw of a Blue Macaw, showing you the step-by-step process of how I create the textures, colours and hidden colours of the skin and talons of the claw. I explain the differences and similarities in achieving the same effect with oil paint.
2. Micro Tutorial: Outlines, proportions and sketching - December 12
This month's micro-tutorial will be part of the new beginner series, focusing on the foundational skills of outlines, proportions and sketching. It will consolidate previous live demos and tutorials on outlining, using Procreate, proportions, and sketching techniques. I have also included sketching exercises, and detials on using projectors, grids and basic pencil work. Perfect for beginners looking to build a solid foundation!
